My original duties as a tier 3 support engineer included supporting the Computer Information Group (CIG) as the top tier support engineer and internal support systems integrator. I am also responsible for the deployment and management of the systems and services we use to support our customer base. These tools include Labtech, Kaseya  and Zenith. I developed and deployed a “Monitor and Graph” (MAG) system across our customer base, this has greatly improved proactive response times to our managed systems when issues arise. In my first year I earned the company’s “Attitude Award” seven times, I earned Employee of the Quarter in October 2010 and Employee of the Year in December 2010. I was integral in the launch of their corporate website which required an engineer that was well versed in LAMP systems and WordPress.  I’ve created several webinars and training videos to support the department and processes used to support our customers. I was promoted to Centralized Services Engineer in 2013, this positions responsibilities include management and care of all support systems used in the delivery of company services, all Cloud based offerings, Firewall systems management across all customers, Service wide backup and DR systems, Labtech Automation Scripting along with many secondary rolls.

I operated as manager and Sr. Systems Engineer for BTS network operations, which provided Application and Managed Service hosting products. My job was to provide all IT services for the company, this included IT expenditures, software and hardware purchases, vendor contacts and 24/7 operations of our NOC. I was responsible for the development and implementation of the hybrid based architecture that supports all the service offerings BTS provides.  These duties included managing network security, Design and manage SAN/NAS  arrays over ISCSI, designing the VMware Enterprise infrastructure,  VOIP phone systems, virtual office environments, all server and desktop OS’s, applications and hardware platforms they run on. I was also responsible for daily management and work assignments of the technical staff and help desk technicians that support our NOC and customer base.

I was responsible for all telecommunications and computer information systems dealing with Internet video production for this Medical Training via Internet Video Company.  I had full responsibility for the handling of the video, voice and IT multi-media information from the camera output to the Internet. I was responsible for the negotiation and ultimate installation of wide band telecoms services for the company.
